On February 25, 2025, the UAE is facing challenging weather as light rain, dust storms, and strong winds impact several regions, including Fujairah, Sharjah, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM). Light showers were recorded in areas like Adhen, Al Ghail, Ras Al Khaimah, and along Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in Fujairah—with additional rain in Dibba—while dust alerts have been issued as visibility dropped to less than 2000 meters at Al Maktoum International Airport. The mix of moisture and dust has made travel hazardous, prompting the NCM to advise residents to drive carefully, keep windows and doors closed, and follow official updates. A video shared on Instagram by Storm_ae shows the strong, dusty winds in northwest Dubai, and tomorrow’s forecast predicts partly cloudy skies, more dust, northwesterly winds possibly reaching up to 50 km/hr, and rough seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, urging everyone to remain cautious and prepared.
